yes, we already started hanging out at the hospital as jerks now. don’t get it wrong. ‘jerks’ means junior clerks. :) anyway, our group’s first rotation is in the medicine department of MSH. so, what we’ve been doing exactly is following the medicine clerks from admitting patients, taking history & physical examination, inserting NGT & cath to accompanying doctors making rounds, writing progress notes with PSOAP (basically, that means Problem, Subjective, Objective, Assessment & Plan) and endorsing patients. along the way, it’s not just about solving cases and giving treatments but you also observe people individually and as a whole. i just realize how varied a person can be. everyone can be anyone talaga. so, ok, time’s up for that and it’s time for photoz.
